A completed STARS Research Application
consists of the following:
- STARS Research Application (pdf)
- An essay consisting of no less than
300 words. This essay should describe why you selected a science or
technology discipline as a major and your future plans (graduate/career) upon completion of
your undergraduate degree.
- Two completed recommendation forms from NSU Faculty (letters of recommendation from non-NSU faculty)

- Resumé
- Transcript or Evaluation
- Please indicate any plans to attend summer school, the number of courses you plan to take, and reasons for taking the courses.
- Mentor Data Form (included in STARS Research Application)
Return application packet to the STARS
Office (RTC 100). All materials must be included for consideration.
